VICTORIAN CLOCK WITH STATUE

Circa 1881.  Waterbury mantel clock in good working condition.  This handsome, mahogany, Victorian clock features a copper washed metal statue of what I belelieve is a Renaissance dandy in elaborate hat and clothes.  This clock was manufactured by the well known Connecticut clock company "Waterbury" and is fully marked on its original works with the patent date of 1881.  It features an elaborate gold clock face with an Escapement and ornate feet.  It also has a pleasant chime on the hour and the half hour.  It is in good antique condition, although the statue has a hairline crack that I believe is an original flaw, which we have pictured.  18" Tall x 19" wide x 7½"  This clock can be picked up in Brooklyn, NY.  Price $350.00
